The SmartSolar 100|50 is designed to accept solar panel (PV) input up to 700W at 12V or 1400W at 24V and has a rated charge current of 50A.
However, you should note both the open circuit voltage (Voc) and the short circuit current (Isc) of your combined solar panels and ensure this does not exceed the maximum input of the MPPT charge controller. For the 100|50 the maximum PV open circuit voltage (Voc) is 100V and the maximum PV short circuit current (Isc) is 60A. If you are unsure we can help you size the correct MPPT controller.
* Remember when wiring solar panels in series: voltage increases and amps stays the same & when wiring in parallel: voltage stays the same and amps increases
Auto-selects 12/24V on the output. The charge controller once connected will automatically recognise your battery bank voltage.
Bluetooth Monitoring built-in. Remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your SmartSolar MPPT charge controller with built-in bluetooth by pairing it with your smartphone or tablet via the VictronConnect app. (Bluetooth dongle not required)
Optional Victron Wirebox (M) - please choose 'Add' or 'Do not Add'. The MPPT WireBox provides an extra level of safety covering all DC terminals, preventing accidental contact with terminal screws.
