The Maxeon 435W panels have a black frame and white topsheet and are built with 66 Maxeon Gen6 high efficiency solar cells (22.8%) this means more power in less space which is pretty important when "roof space" is a premium.
The 435W panel is the same cost as the smaller 415W-R so that means 20W extra in almost the same footprint (that's around 5% more solar for the same cost!) One of the reasons the cost is not higher are the latest Gen6 solar cells that are 70% larger, so there are fewer cells, fewer points to solder, less interconnect tabs - all reasons that cost of production has come down.
